The annual vintage selection is an eagerly awaited event in the Balvenie calendar and this year it was the turn of three members of The Balvenie club to help the Malt Master select his Balvenie Vintage Cask.

In January 2007, malt whisky enthusiasts Bill Meyers from St Louis, Missouri; Mattias Nordkvist from Sweden and John Lee from the UK travelled a combined distance of five thousand miles (8,000km) to join The Balvenie Distillery's Malt Master David Stewart in choosing this year’s special cask.
